Asset Administration Shell: Giving Meaning to Industrial Data

Toda a gente concorda que os dados industriais valem ouro, mas e se grande parte desse valor se perdesse simplesmente porque os dados não sabem o que significam? É essa a lacuna que AAS se propõe a fechar, e é também o ponto de partida desta sessão. O André Costa começará com uma introdução breve ao conceito, o suficiente para perceber porque é que tem vindo a aparecer em cada vez mais projetos do centro. A partir daí, a Verónica Ferreira mostra como esta ideia ganha forma numa arquitetura real, e o José Sousa leva-nos um passo mais longe, até ao ponto em que são agentes de IA a tirar partido dessa representação (com uma surpresa ou outra pelo caminho sobre o que acontece quando lhes tiramos esse contexto).

Everyone agrees industrial data is worth its weight in gold, but what if much of that value were lost simply because the data doesn't know what it means? That's the gap AAS sets out to close, and it's also the starting point for this session. André Costa will open with a short introduction to the concept, just enough to see why it's been showing up in more and more of the centre's projects. From there, Verónica Ferreira shows how the idea takes shape in a real architecture, and José Sousa takes us one step further, to the point where it's AI agents making use of that representation (with a surprise or two along the way about what happens when we take that context away).
